OBJET D'ART
"Objet d'art", or "found art" is based on the idea that the art work derives its significance from the context and juxtaposition into which found objects are put. Among others, Marcel Duchamp used this technique to powerful affect.

OUTSIDER ART
"Outsider Art" is created by artists who have not had formal training in the arts and thus are able to circumvent the trap of implicit art-historical reference, art fashions, and other forces that could be considered aesthetic contamination.
